THE STORY OF THOUSAND, THE VINTAGE HELMET BRAND PAR EXCELLENCE:

The Thousand Company was created with the goal of saving 1000 lives. Thousand helmets are designed in California, recognized for their vintage style, they have become favorites of our urban cyclists. The company was started by Gloria, she was not used to wearing a helmet when riding her bike. However, following the death of one of these friends after a bicycle accident in New York City, she resolved to wear one. When she went to a bicycle helmet store, she quickly realized that the helmets had a look that she didn't like. So she decided to create the most stylish city helmet possible, so that cyclists would finally want to wear bicycle helmets.

She called on a designer friend, who helped her design the helmet from the Heritage collection. A helmet with a vintage look and various colors (Black Black, Carbon Black Blue Navy, Gold, for the most famous). Gloria wanted a stylish and well thought out range. It therefore integrated a vegan leather strap fastening system, a hole in the helmet to attach it with its anti-theft device as well as a size system so that each head is best protected. When the design was finished, she launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise $20,000 to launch her project. Success was there, she raised more than $250,000 for her Heritage bike helmets.

In addition to being committed to the safety of all cyclists, Thousand is also a company that plays an important role for the planet. It donates 1% of its income to the "1% for the planet" association. In addition, the straps of its helmets from the Heritage collection are made of vegan leather and they offset 100% of their carbon emissions each year.
