Robust security without compromise

The Bordo Granit XPlus 6500 folding lock is a benchmark in security, with a maximum rating of 15 in the ABUS level system. The 5.5 mm bars made of proprietary hardened steel, combined with theLink Protection Shield, make any attempt at cutting or sawing extremely difficult. The XPlus cylinder lock guarantees very high protection against picking and manipulation.

Smart flexibility and easy transport

The hinged system allows you to lock bikes made up of several segments (frame and wheel), while remaining much more compact than a U-lock. The included SH bracket is easily mounted on the frame via can screws or Velcro straps, and holds the lock without noise or wobbling during the ride. The 85 cm model weighs 1.76 kg, the 110 cm model reaches 2.33 kg.

Robustness and premium finish

Every component is manufactured in Germany to the highest standards. The articulated bars with a 2-component soft coating protect the frame paintwork, while the soft-touch silicone lock body ensures comfortable handling. The XPlus cylinder and domed rivets add an extra layer of security against drill or bolt cutter attacks.

What level of security does this lock offer?

The Bordo Granit XPlus 6500 is rated 15/15 on the ABUS scale, equivalent to Gold according to Sold Secure. It is one of the most secure folding locks on the market.

What length and weight does it offer?

Available in 85 cm (≈1.76 kg) or 110 cm (≈2.33 kg). These dimensions allow the frame and a wheel to be secured around a fixed point easily.

What is the anti-theft device made of?

5.5 mm bars made of special ABUS hardened steel, with a soft coating, and an anti-pick XPlus cylinder.

Is it easy to transport?

Yes. Attached to the included SH bracket (screws or Velcro), it stores securely without noise and can be removed quickly.

Can it be used on a heavy electric bike or fat bike?

Yes. Despite its weight, the center of gravity is close to the frame once attached, which minimizes movement even on wide tires or unstable terrain.
