Lighting technology for your safety

The FARO MIPS helmet is more than just a protective accessory. Equipped with integrated front and rear lighting (up to 500 lumens), it makes you visible to all road users, day and night. The scrolling turn signals and brake light are activated via a wireless remote control that attaches to the handlebars. The result: every movement is clearly announced, even in dense urban environments.

Advanced protection and accident alert

The helmet incorporates the MIPS system, known for reducing rotational forces during angled impacts. In the event of a fall, an accelerometer detects the anomaly. If you don't react, the helmet triggers a geolocated SMS alert to your emergency contact. This fall detection and SOS alert feature offers unprecedented peace of mind for cyclists.

Design, comfort and connectivity

FARO is designed for everyday use: with its ABS + EPS foam shell, it is lightweight, waterproof (IPX6 standard), and very stylish. The battery (1350 mAh) offers up to 12 hours of battery life depending on the lighting modes selected. The headset connects to the Unit 1 mobile app, which allows you to adjust the light intensity, manage updates, and track battery life. Fast charging via USB-C.

How heavy is the helmet and is it suitable for everyday use?

The helmet weighs approximately 580 grams. Thanks to its ABS and EPS foam construction, it remains lightweight while providing a high level of comfort and protection, ideal for daily urban commuting.

What are the main built-in security features?

The helmet incorporates the MIPS system to better manage rotational impacts, an automatic brake light, LED turn signals controllable via remote control, as well as a fall detection system with SOS alert sent by SMS.

How powerful is the helmet's lighting?

It features front and rear LEDs totaling up to 500 lumens, providing excellent visibility day and night. Light intensity is adjustable via the dedicated mobile app.

What is the battery life and how does it charge?

The 1350 mAh lithium-ion battery provides between 3 and 12 hours of battery life depending on the settings. Charging is done via a USB-C cable, with a charging time of approximately 2.5 hours.

Is the helmet rain resistant?

Yes, it is IPX6 certified, which means it is resistant to strong splashes of water and can therefore be used in the rain without any problem.

Can the headset be used without the remote control?
