The Opossum® Summer is an ingenious seat cover designed to keep your child dry during bike rides. This convertible poncho fits most rear child seats and effectively protects your little passenger from rain, wind, and splashes, without restricting their movement.

Adaptability and comfort in everyday life

Designed for children weighing 9 to 22 kg (68 to 104 cm), this poncho fits perfectly thanks to its ergonomic hood and loose fit. It can be worn with or without a helmet. Made from waterproof and breathable polyester (2,000 mm/2,000 g/m²/24 h), it offers optimal comfort even on long walks.

Ultra-practical, secure and compact

The seams are welded for maximum protection, and reflective inserts ensure good visibility. The integrated anti-theft system allows the poncho to be left attached to the bike. Once the rain has passed, it folds into its own pouch for minimal bulk.

From what age can Opossum Summer be used?

It is suitable for children from 9 to 22 kg, or approximately 12 months to 5 years, depending on their height (68 to 104 cm). It is compatible with the most common rear child seats.

Is the seat cover really waterproof?

Yes, it is made of windproof polyester with a 2000mm waterproof rating and fully taped seams. It effectively protects against rain even in prolonged downpours.

Can my child wear a helmet with this poncho?

Yes, the hood is ergonomic and helmet compatible. It adjusts easily to stay in place without compromising safety or comfort.

Is the poncho easy to install on the seat?

Very easy to install, it attaches around the seat and can remain attached to the bike thanks to an integrated anti-theft ring. Closing is intuitive, even for everyday journeys.

Does the poncho take up space when not in use?

No, once folded, it stores in its own compact pouch. Easy to carry or leave on the bike without taking up space.
