360° visibility and certified e-bike safety

The Aura helmet incorporates powerful front and rear LEDs (≥ 400 lumens) to ensure maximum visibility in all situations, day and night. It is NTA 8776, CPSC and EN1078 certified, making it a safe choice for e-bike users.

Lightweight, ventilated and protective design

Weighing in at 440g (size M), the Aura features a reinforced polycarbonate shell and EPS foam liner combined with the MIPS system to provide optimal protection while remaining comfortable. It features 16 vents for efficient airflow and is IPX67 water resistant for worry-free use in the rain.

Advanced technologies and connectivity

The 1200 mAh lithium-ion battery charges via USB-C in approximately 3 hours, with a battery life ranging from 3 hours (max mode) to 30 hours (low intensity beacon mode). The headset connects to the Unit 1 app, allowing customization of light modes and crash/SOS alerts (geolocalized SMS sent if no response after fall detected).

How much does the Aura MIPS helmet weigh?

The helmet weighs 440g (size M), thanks to a lightweight PC shell, a high-performance EPS liner and optimized ventilation with 16 vents.

What lighting power does LED integration offer?

The front/rear LEDs provide over 400 lumens of power, adjustable via the Unit 1 app according to visibility needs.

How does charging work and what is the range?

The 1200 mAh battery charges in approximately 3 hours via USB-C. Battery life ranges from 3 hours in 100% light mode, to 15 hours in strong beacon mode, and up to 30 hours in soft beacon mode.

Is it rain resistant?

Yes, it has IPX67 protection, which means it is water and dust resistant, suitable for use in the rain.

What security certifications does it cover?

Certified NTA 8776 (electric bicycles), CPSC (United States), EN1078 (Europe) and validated by Virginia Tech, it meets the most demanding standards for bicycle safety.

How does fall detection and SOS alert work?
