La longueur d'une chaîne, la sécurité d'un pliant

Avec 110 cm de circonférence, le Foldylock Elite est l'un des antivols pliants les plus longs. Il entoure un arceau épais, un poteau, ou le cadre et une roue ensemble, là où un pliant de 85 ou 90 cm reste court.

Il garde le niveau de la gamme haute Seatylock : plaques en acier trempé de 6,5 mm, rivets protégés par un système breveté, cylindre résistant au perçage.

Monté sur le vélo, silencieux sur les pavés

Il voyage replié dans son étui fixé sur le cadre, avec des vis pour les inserts de porte-bidon ou des colliers pour les cadres qui n'en ont pas. Ses articulations sont conçues pour ne pas cliqueter.

Les maillons sont gainés de plastique pour ne pas rayer la peinture quand vous l'attachez.

Pourquoi choisir 110 cm ?

110 cm permettent d'attacher le cadre et une roue ensemble, ou d'entourer un arceau épais, un poteau large ou un cadre de vélo électrique volumineux. Un pliant de 85 ou 90 cm ne prend en général que le cadre.

Comment fixer l'étui sur le vélo ?

L'étui se visse sur les inserts de porte-bidon, ou se serre autour d'un tube avec les colliers fournis. Seatylock demande de le monter ouverture vers le haut et de vérifier qu'il ne gêne ni le pédalage ni les câbles.

Que signifient ART 3 étoiles et Sold Secure Gold ?

Ce sont deux certifications indépendantes, néerlandaise et britannique, obtenues après des tests d'attaque. ART 3 étoiles et Sold Secure Gold correspondent à un niveau élevé, adapté aux vélos de valeur et aux vélos électriques.

N'est-il pas trop lourd ?

Il pèse 1,9 kg, le prix de la longueur et des plaques épaisses. Rangé dans son étui sur le cadre, il se fait oublier. Pour un vélo léger ou un usage occasionnel, un pliant plus court sera plus agréable.

Résiste-t-il à une meuleuse ?

Non. Aucun antivol portable ne résiste indéfiniment à une meuleuse sur batterie. Un antivol bien certifié fait perdre du temps au voleur et le dissuade : c'est ce qui fait renoncer la plupart des tentatives.

Que faire si je perds mes clés ?

Conservez la carte fournie avec les clés : elle permet de commander des doubles. Seatylock prolonge aussi sa garantie à 3 ans quand les clés sont enregistrées sur son site.
